AI Readiness Assessment

A practical review of your people, processes, data, and technology—with a written report that turns findings into decisions.

How we help

Practical work, grounded in your context.

Who we work with

Business leaders, department heads, and technology teams preparing an AI initiative or reviewing investments already underway.

Start with the whole company or one business area, such as Finance, Operations, or Customer Service. We agree the questions to answer, the stakeholders to involve, and the systems to review before the assessment begins.

Through stakeholder interviews, process walkthroughs, and agreed evidence, we examine data quality and access, ownership, skills, integration options, and the controls needed for your use cases. The report distinguishes observed findings from assumptions and areas that need further investigation.

Where it helps

Choose a useful starting point.

The assessment follows your business priorities and the level of evidence available.

01

One department

Review a focused area such as Finance: its recurring processes, data sources, pain points, and opportunities for AI assistance.

02

Company-wide readiness

Compare readiness across business units, identify shared dependencies, and clarify where central IT and business owners need to work together.

03

An existing AI initiative

Review why a pilot is stalled, what is needed for adoption, and whether its data, operating model, and success measures are ready for the next stage.

What you get

A report your teams can act on.

AI readiness report

An executive summary and scorecard covering the agreed scope, evidence, gaps, dependencies, and limits of the assessment.

Prioritised recommendations

A ranked list of use cases and improvements, with expected benefits, indicative effort, risks, and prerequisites. Simpler automation is considered where it fits.

An accountable action plan

A proposed 90-day roadmap with suggested owners, resource needs, decision points, and measures of progress, reviewed with your stakeholders.

The engagement

A clear scope, from the start.

  1. Agree the scope

Define the business areas, questions, available evidence, and people needed. Confirm the fee and delivery schedule.

  2. Review the evidence

Interview stakeholders and examine selected processes, systems, documentation, and data samples through agreed access.

  3. Present the findings

Deliver the report, discuss priorities with your team, and agree practical next steps in a readout session.

Good questions

Before we start

Can we start with Finance only?

Yes. The assessment can focus on one business unit, process family, or region. We identify dependencies on other teams without automatically expanding the engagement.

Do we need an AI platform already?

No. We can assess your existing data and systems before you choose a platform. If you already have pilots or tools, they become part of the agreed review.

How long does it take?

The schedule is agreed after scoping and depends on stakeholder availability, the number of systems, and access to evidence. The proposal includes milestones and a report delivery date.

What information do you need?

We start with interviews, system inventories, and existing documentation. Any sample data or system access is agreed in advance, with restricted or anonymised evidence used where appropriate.
